2025 CKER Travel Grants
The Committee on Knowledge Extension Research (CKER) is offering travel grants up to $1,000 (U.S.) to graduate students pursuing a Ph.D. from the U.S., Canada or Mexico, who will be presenting at the 60th Actuarial Research Conference (ARC). The ARC will be held at York University, July 29-August 1, 2025. Please see the CKER Travel Grant Application for additional details and deadlines.
2025 CKER/CAS Individual Grant Competition
The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and the Society of Actuaries (SOA) Research Institute’s Committee on Knowledge Extension Research (CKER) announce the 2025 Individual Grant Competition to support the advancement of knowledge in actuarial science. Interested parties must submit a Letter Of Intent of 2 pages by October 23, 2024. Please see the Individual Grant Announcement for additional details and deadlines.
Emerging Issues Research Pool
The Society of Actuaries Research Institute's Research Executive Committee has established a pool of special funding called the Emerging Issues Research Pool. The goal of this special funding is to support emerging topics in established practice areas and encourage the development of research projects that have strong impact on the actuarial profession.
